The specific location of the automotive carbon canister is between the car engine and the fuel tank. The functions of the automotive carbon canister include the following three points: 1. Absorb the vapor generated by gasoline to maintain the stability of the fuel tank: At normal temperature, the fuel tank generates vapor. The fuel evaporation emission system directs the vapor into the combustion process and prevents it from volatilizing into the atmosphere, thereby reducing atmospheric pollution and improving fuel efficiency; 2. Prevent fuel vapor from entering the atmosphere when the car engine stops running: This not only reduces vehicle exhaust emissions but also lowers fuel consumption; 3. Storage function: The carbon canister has a certain capacity. When the car starts, the hose on the carbon canister connects to the car's intake system, and the carbon canister solenoid valve on the pipeline controls it. Then, the vapor inside the carbon canister is transmitted to the intake system for combustion.
