Where is the car oil dipstick located?

The car oil dipstick is located on the engine cover, usually with an orange or red handle. The oil dipstick is used to measure the oil level. After pulling out the dipstick, wipe off the oil with a tissue, then reinsert it. Upon pulling it out again, you can check the oil level, which is normal if it falls within the marked range. After adding oil, start the vehicle first, then turn it off and wait for 3 minutes before checking the oil level again. This is because when changing the oil, the oil filter also needs to be replaced. The newly replaced oil filter contains no oil initially. After starting the vehicle, oil will flow into the oil filter. Waiting for 3 minutes after turning off the engine allows the oil to flow back into the oil pan, ensuring a more accurate measurement of the oil level.
