Where is the camshaft sensor located on the Teana?

The camshaft sensor on the Teana is located at the rear of the cylinder head, near the transmission side. The camshaft position sensor is a sensing device, also known as a synchronization signal sensor, which inputs the camshaft position signal to the ECU and serves as the main control signal for ignition. The Teana is a medium-sized 4-door 5-seater sedan with body dimensions of: length 4901 mm, width 1850 mm, height 1450 mm, a wheelbase of 2825 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 61.3 liters. The Teana is equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine and a CVT continuously variable transmission, delivering a maximum power of 115 kW at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 197 Nm at 4400 rpm.
I've been driving the Teana for several years, and the camshaft position sensor is quite easy to locate. Open the engine hood, and it's right in the front area near the fan, usually a small black cylindrical or box-shaped component installed near the top valve cover of the engine. I remember being a bit confused the first time I looked for it, but after checking the manual, I found it on the left side of the intake manifold. It's connected to a few wiring harnesses, and you can feel it with a gentle touch. If the sensor fails, the car will struggle to start and shake continuously. That time, because I didn't notice it in time, my fuel consumption suddenly increased. Keeping the engine clean usually can also prevent dust buildup on the sensor and extend its lifespan. In short, once you remember its location, car repairs become easier and more cost-effective.
