The cabin air filter of the Volkswagen Bora is located in the engine compartment, in front of the driver's seat. Open the engine hood, remove the four screws on the cover plate, and take off the cover to see it. The cabin air filter, commonly known as the pollen filter, is used to filter the air entering the cabin from the outside, improving air cleanliness. It generally filters impurities in the air, such as tiny particles, pollen, bacteria, industrial exhaust, and dust. The Volkswagen Bora is the first independently designed model by FAW-Volkswagen, featuring a sturdy, full, and simple yet stylish wedge-shaped design. Its powerful engine provides an exhilarating driving experience. The long wheelbase and full-size compact body reflect its rich connotation. The meticulously designed control system allows for effortless and enjoyable driving.

The air filter for my Volkswagen Bora is located inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. Every time I want to inspect or replace it, I open the glove compartment, clear out the items inside, and there's a small plastic cover at the back that's held in place with clips. A gentle push or pull reveals the filter. The placement is thoughtfully designed, making it easy to replace on my own without spending unnecessary money at a repair shop. I usually replace it once a year, especially if I drive on dusty roads. Over time, it can get clogged, reducing the airflow from the AC and possibly causing unpleasant odors. Once, I forgot to replace it, and during summer, the AC blew out a musty smell, which was awful. After replacing it, the performance improved immediately, and the air became fresh again. I recommend buying the correct filter model in advance and checking the dimensions against the manual to avoid buying the wrong one and wasting effort. When handling it, don't use excessive force as the clips can break easily. After installation, test the AC to ensure it's working properly.

Is the Beijing BJ80 equipped with the same engine as the G-Class?

BJ80 and the G-Class do not share the same engine. Below is a detailed introduction about automotive engines: 1. Overview: A car engine is the device that provides power for a vehicle, determining its performance, fuel efficiency, stability, and environmental friendliness. Depending on the power source, car engines can be categorized into diesel engines, gasoline engines, electric motors for electric vehicles, and hybrid systems, among others. 2. Additional Information: Common gasoline and diesel engines are both types of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines, capable of converting the chemical energy of fuel into mechanical energy for piston movement, thereby delivering power output. Gasoline engines feature higher rotational speeds, lighter weight, lower noise levels, easier starting, and lower manufacturing costs. Diesel engines, on the other hand, have higher compression ratios, greater thermal efficiency, and better fuel economy and emission performance compared to gasoline engines.

Additional information is as follows: Controlled vehicle: A controlled vehicle refers to a specific model that, due to its high claim frequency and payout ratio, is subject to certain restrictions when being insured. For example, comprehensive coverage may exclude no-deductible clauses, or scratch insurance may not be available. Does idling with the air conditioning on affect the engine?

Idling with the air conditioning on does affect the car. When the engine operates at low speeds for extended periods, it is more prone to carbon buildup. Over time, this can lead to unstable idling and other issues that impact the engine's performance, as well as shorten its lifespan. Below is a detailed explanation of the effects of frequently idling with the air conditioning on: Effects: When the car is idling with the air conditioning on, the electrical reserves are limited, so the engine must work to maintain the air conditioning system. However, during idling, the combustion of gasoline is incomplete, releasing various pollutants, especially carbon monoxide, which can be more than ten times higher than during normal driving. Dangers: If the car is idling with the air conditioning on and the doors and windows are tightly closed for a long time, exhaust fumes can enter the enclosed cabin. If these fumes accumulate to a certain level, they can cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
