The cabin air filter of Audi Q5 is located inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. The functions of the cabin air filter are: 1. To separate dust, pollen, and grinding particles from the air; 2. To ensure clean air in the cabin and prevent bacterial growth. Taking the 2018 Audi Q5 as an example, its body dimensions are: length 4629mm, width 1898mm, height 1655mm, wheelbase 2807mm, and fuel tank capacity 75l. The 2018 Audi Q5 is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 169kW and a maximum torque of 350Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Last time I changed the air conditioning filter on my old Audi Q5, it was quite a hassle. It's hidden deep inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. You have to remove the entire glove box, and there's a cover plate inside that requires a T20 screwdriver to remove three screws before you can see the white filter housing. The newer Q5L is much easier - just open the engine compartment, and under the black cover panel at the lower right corner of the windshield, remove six plastic clips to access the filter. Remember to check the arrow direction on the filter when replacing it, as installing it backwards affects filtration efficiency. Before DIY, prepare a new filter and screwdriver - you can finish in half an hour and save hundreds in labor costs!
