The cabin air filter of the Zotye SR7 is located in the glove compartment area. Release the side clips and lower the glove compartment to access the cabin air filter cover. Below is additional information about the Zotye SR7 cabin air filter: 1. A significant reduction in airflow from the AC vents indicates a clogged cabin air filter. Clean the filter and replace it if necessary. 2. Cleaning frequency depends on road conditions (dusty roads, etc.). 3. Operating the AC without the cabin air filter installed may degrade dustproof performance and affect AC performance. 4. For areas with poor urban air quality, it is recommended to replace the cabin air filter twice a year.

I've been driving a Zotye SR7 for three years and have replaced the cabin air filter several times myself. The filter is hidden behind the glove box on the passenger side, so you need to remove the glove box first to access it. When you open the passenger door, you'll see two small clips on both sides of the glove box - press them inward firmly to detach the entire glove box. After removal, you'll find a black plastic cover with clips on both sides. Pinch the clips and pull outward to remove the old filter. Remember that the filter has an orientation - the arrow marked on the new filter should point toward the front of the vehicle. DIY replacement only costs 30-40 RMB, while a dealership would charge over 200 RMB including labor. By the way, it's best to replace the filter every six months, especially during seasons with lots of willow catkins in northern regions, otherwise the AC may emit an earthy odor.

Last month, I just helped my younger brother replace the air conditioning filter in his Zotye SR7. The filter is located inside the storage compartment in front of the passenger seat. First, you need to empty the storage compartment, then lift it upwards with force to remove the entire compartment. When you look inside, you'll see a rectangular cover with a handle—that's the filter housing. Open the housing, and you can directly pull out the white filter. When replacing it, pay attention to the folds on the filter and make sure not to install it upside down. I recommend buying an activated carbon filter for better filtration. If you smoke while driving, replace it every three months; otherwise, every six months is usually fine. If you're not confident doing it yourself, a repair shop will charge around 30 yuan for the labor cost.

The cabin air filter of the Zotye SR7 is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. To access it, open the glove compartment and press the pressure release mechanisms on both sides to lower the glove box to its lowest position. You'll then see a plastic cover at the back secured with clips around its edges. Gently pry it open with a flat-head screwdriver to replace the filter. Remember that the filter has an airflow direction indicator - the arrow should point toward the driver's side. This location is actually quite well designed, making filter replacement easier and safer compared to engine compartment locations. It's recommended to check it during every maintenance service. In cities with air quality like Beijing's, replacing it every two seasons isn't excessive. You can buy a Mann filter online for about 20 yuan, which is half the price of the OEM part.

How to Check the Displacement of a Prado?

You can check the displacement of a Prado by looking at the badge on the rear of the vehicle. The currently available Prado models are all equipped with a 3.5L displacement. Below are some related explanations about displacement: 1. Automobile displacement refers to the volume of fluid that a car intakes or exhausts per stroke or cycle. It is an important parameter for measuring a vehicle. 2. Displacement, a specialized term in hydraulic transmission, is one of the most critical structural parameters of an engine. It represents the size of an engine more accurately than bore diameter and the number of cylinders. Many performance indicators of an engine are closely related to its displacement. Generally, a larger displacement means the engine can release more energy (converting chemical energy from fuel into mechanical energy) per unit of time, resulting in better "power performance." 3. In China, passenger car classifications are determined based on displacement. Mini cars have a displacement of ≤1.0L; compact cars range from 1.0—1.6L; mid-size cars range from 1.6—2.5L; executive cars range from 2.5—4.0L; and luxury cars have a displacement of >4.0L.

What to Do When the Water Temperature Indicator Shows High Temperature?

Water Temperature Indicator Shows High Temperature: Causes and Solutions The reasons and solutions for high water temperature indication are as follows: 1. Depletion of coolant: Check the coolant level and whether it has deteriorated, then replenish the coolant. 2. Thermostat failure: In case of such a malfunction, the car must be sent to a 4S shop for inspection and repair. 3. Water temperature sensor failure: Check if the water temperature sensor and its circuit are functioning properly. The car's water temperature gauge measures the temperature of the engine's cooling water. The electronic control unit determines the temperature of the engine's cooling water based on this change. The lower the temperature, the greater the resistance; conversely, the smaller the resistance. 4. Other reasons: Check if the water radiator is blocked by foreign objects and inspect whether the fan blades are deformed.
