The cabin air filter of the Peugeot 4008 is located on the left side under the glove compartment, near the center area. To access it, you need to remove the left footwell panel on the passenger side and the fastener panel beneath the glove compartment. Remember to align the arrow on the new filter with the airflow direction inside the car - installing it backwards will significantly reduce filtration efficiency. It's actually not difficult to DIY, though the crouching position can be tough on your back. It's a good opportunity to clean up accumulated parking tickets in the glove box too. I recommend changing it twice a year during spring and autumn, especially in northern areas with heavy poplar fluff seasons when filters clog quickly and you'll notice significantly reduced airflow from the AC.
