Where is the cabin air filter located on the BYD S6?

The cabin air filter is located beneath the glove compartment. There are dampers on both sides - pull them outward, rotate 90 degrees clockwise, then pull out. There are clips on both left and right sides. After releasing them, remove the cabin air filter. Steps to replace the cabin air filter: 1. Open the front passenger glove compartment; 2. Press both hands on the edges of the glove compartment and gently squeeze inward; 3. Lower the glove compartment to its maximum position; 4. Unfasten the tongue on the filter sealing strip and remove it; 5. Press both side clips simultaneously, remove the filter cover plate and install the new cabin air filter with the white side facing upward; 6. After installation, reassemble the cover plate and glove compartment in reverse order.
Last week, I just helped my brother replace the cabin air filter for his BYD S6, which is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. After opening the glove box, there are plastic clips on both sides. Press them inward simultaneously with your fingers, and the entire glove box will fully drop down. At this point, you can see the cover of the filter housing. There's a small clip on the right side of the cover—just pinch it to remove it. Pull out the old filter directly and insert the new one in the correct orientation. Make sure the arrow on the filter faces downward; the first time I installed it backward, the airflow decreased noticeably. The whole process doesn’t require any tools, though it’s a bit awkward lying down to operate. The design is quite user-friendly—much more convenient than models that require dismantling the dashboard. If you’re skilled, it can be done in five minutes.
