The cabin air filter in the Changan Yuexiang V7 is located below or inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. Some models may also have it installed in the compartment under the windshield in front of the passenger area. Its functions are as follows: 1. I drive a Changan Alsvin V7 and have changed the air conditioning filter myself before. The filter is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. There are plastic clips on both sides of the glove compartment—just gently pry them open to remove it, but be careful not to use too much force and break them. Once removed, you'll see a rectangular plastic cover. Pry it open, and that's where the air conditioning filter is. A quick reminder: the filter has a front and back side, so make sure the arrow direction isn't installed backward, or it will affect filtration. I recommend replacing it twice a year, especially during seasons with lots of willow catkins in the north, otherwise, the AC may develop odors. It takes me less than ten minutes to replace it myself, whereas a shop would charge dozens of yuan for labor.
