The cabin air filter of the BYD Song MAX is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, near the blower motor. To replace the cabin air filter in the BYD Song MAX, follow these steps: 1. Remove the glove compartment on the passenger side: Open the glove compartment, detach the damper, squeeze the limit clips on both sides of the glove compartment, and tilt it downward. 2. Remove the cabin air filter cover: The cover has clips on both sides; squeeze them toward the center. 3. Take out the old filter and insert the new one: Ensure the arrow mark on the new cabin air filter faces upward. 4. Reinstall the cabin air filter cover and reassemble the glove compartment in reverse order: Make sure the blower motor is turned off when replacing the cabin air filter.
