The cabin air filter in the 2010 Sylphy is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. To replace it, you must remove the glove compartment by unscrewing the three screws at the bottom of the glove box. Functions of the cabin air filter: 1. Ensures the filter tightly fits the housing to prevent unfiltered air from entering the cabin; 2. Separates solid impurities such as dust, pollen, and abrasive particles from the air; 3. Adsorbs moisture, soot, ozone, odors, carbon oxides, SO2, CO2 in the air with strong and lasting adsorption capability; 4. Prevents car windows from fogging up, ensuring clear visibility and driving safety; 5. Provides fresh air to the cabin, preventing occupants from inhaling harmful gases and ensuring driving safety; 6. Effectively sterilizes and deodorizes.
