Where is the cabin air filter located in a BMW 530?

The cabin air filter in a BMW 530 is located behind the left side interior panel on the passenger side. After removing the interior panel, you will see the air filter housing. The bottom of the air filter housing is secured with four T20 Torx screws. Remove these screws and take off the housing to access the cabin air filter inside.
