The cabin air filter in the 2017 Peugeot 308 is located beneath the right side of the front windshield, positioned between the rain gutter and the engine firewall. Below are the steps for removing and installing the cabin air filter: 1. Turn off the engine; do not start the vehicle. 2. Locate the engine hood release handle at the lower left side of the driver's compartment. Pull it upward to release the hood, then disengage the secondary latch and open the engine compartment. 3. Support the hood with an engine support rod. 4. Use a 10 cm wrench to remove the three to four bolts securing the right front windshield rain gutter and the area near the engine firewall. 5. After removing the protective cover, you will find the hidden cabin air filter. 6. Remove the old filter and install the new one. 7. Reassemble all components in reverse order of removal.
