Front compartment fuse box is located next to the left fender in the front compartment. Remove the front compartment fuse box cover and flip it over to see the fuse box label inside. The instrument panel fuse box is located inside the lower trim panel of the driver's instrument panel. Regarding the fuse box, please note the following points: 1. Do not use fuses with higher amperage ratings than specified, or any other objects to replace fuses, as this may cause serious damage and potentially lead to fire. 2. Replacing a blown fuse with one of higher amperage will significantly increase the risk of damaging the electrical system. 3. If a replacement fuse with matching amperage is not available, use one with lower amperage instead.

After purchasing a BYD Song, I often tinker with the car myself and found that the fuse box location is actually quite easy to locate. The first time I popped the hood, I spotted a fuse box right next to the battery housing some critical fuses, like those for the headlights and A/C. However, inside the cabin, the main fuse box is typically concealed beneath the dashboard on the driver’s side—kneel under the seat and look upward to find a plastic cover; removing it reveals an array of fuses. I once helped a friend replace a blown fuse there when their lights suddenly went out. Just be cautious not to accidentally short-circuit anything—always disconnect the power first and wear anti-static gloves. The BYD Song’s design is thoughtful, with safely tucked-away placements, but the manual also includes detailed diagrams pinpointing exact locations, making it beginner-friendly (a phone flashlight suffices). Regularly inspecting fuse boxes can prevent minor issues and keep your ride running smoothly.

As a car repair enthusiast, I've disassembled many BYD Song parts. The fuse box locations are in two places: the main fuse box is inside the cabin, under the dashboard on the driver's side - you can feel a small flip cover by reaching into the footwell. The other is in the engine compartment on the right side, near the battery, which handles high-power equipment. Simply put, to find the main fuse box, first sit in the driver's seat, turn off the engine and power, then bend down to look under the dashboard - there's a gray plastic panel that can be gently pried open. Inside, the fuses are neatly arranged and labeled with functions like radio or wipers. Remember to use a multimeter to check if they're blown before replacing. If lights aren't working, it's likely a fuse issue - replacing it yourself isn't difficult, but don't randomly pull out other components to avoid causing short circuits. Pay attention to this area during maintenance to save hassle.

What type of vehicle is the Leapmotor S01?

The Leapmotor S01 is a small pure electric vehicle, and its exterior design resembles that of a sports car. Here is more information about the Leapmotor S01: 1. The Leapmotor S01 is equipped with a 170-horsepower electric motor, which has a maximum torque of 250 Nm. The car features a front-mounted motor layout and uses ternary lithium batteries. 2. The front suspension of this car uses a MacPherson independent suspension, while the rear suspension employs a torsion beam non-independent suspension. Small cars generally use torsion beam rear suspensions because there is not enough space at the rear of small cars to install an independent suspension. 3. Independent suspensions have a more complex structure and occupy more space. Additionally, small cars are usually priced affordably, so manufacturers opt for non-independent rear suspensions to reduce costs.

Will a Slightly Misaligned Steering Wheel Have Any Impact?

Yes, a slightly misaligned steering wheel can have an impact. Below are some relevant details about steering wheel misalignment: 1. A misaligned steering wheel does not necessarily mean the car is pulling to one side, and it is not a major issue. The main concern is the visual and handling discomfort it causes. 2. If the steering wheel is only slightly off-center, within 20 degrees, it can be corrected by adjusting the tie rods. However, it is important to note that attempting this adjustment yourself carries risks and could lead to more serious issues, so proceed with caution. 3. Adjusting the length of the tie rods does not require "cutting" or "extending" them; instead, you can "screw in" or "screw out" the rod base. First, prepare a wrench, then turn the steering wheel all the way to the right to expose the rear of the left front wheel.

What are the differences between pure electric vehicles and traditional cars?

Here are the differences between pure electric and traditional cars: 1. Different fuel ports. Electric vehicles derive their power from the battery pack, featuring a charging port that combines slow and fast charging interfaces. Traditional cars have a gasoline filler port. 2. Different power systems. Electric vehicles are powered by drive motors, while traditional cars rely on engines. 3. Different voltage levels. The rated voltage of an electric vehicle's battery is very high, with multiple wiring harnesses and connectors forming a high-voltage system. Traditional car batteries operate at 12V. 4. Different emissions. Electric vehicles have no exhaust pipes and produce zero emissions. Traditional cars have exhaust pipes and contribute to environmental pollution. 5. Different dashboard displays. Electric vehicle dashboards show remaining battery charge, while traditional car dashboards display remaining fuel levels. 6. Different transmissions. Electric vehicles use fixed-ratio reducers and cannot change speed by shifting gears; instead, speed is adjusted via motor control. Traditional cars use automatic transmissions that can change speed through gear shifts. 7. Different air conditioning systems. Electric vehicle air conditioning compressors are driven by electric motors, while traditional car air conditioning compressors are driven by the engine.
