Where is the Borgward fuel tank located?

Borgward fuel tanks are installed on both the upper and lower sides at the rear of the vehicle. Fuel gauge: The fuel gauge is a tool used to determine the fuel capacity status of a vehicle. Depending on the model, fuel gauges are generally categorized into analog (pointer-type) and digital displays. The fuel gauge primarily measures the fuel level position via a float in the fuel tank, then determines the fuel capacity by changing the current passing through the gauge through a variable resistor at the end of the float. Refueling precautions: When the fuel gauge pointer reaches the red line marking, refueling is required. Avoid waiting until the gasoline is completely depleted before refueling, as this may damage the vehicle's engine.
Back when I drove the Borgward BX7, I always had to glance at the dashboard before refueling – that little arrow next to the fuel gauge pointing to the right! The fuel filler cap was on the right rear fender. Most German cars are designed this way, which is the opposite of Japanese cars that typically place it on the left. When refueling, make sure to angle the rear of your car toward the fuel pump nozzle; otherwise, you'll have to drag the hose halfway around the car and might get honked at by drivers behind you. Oh, and the fuel cap pops open with a press – don’t pry it forcefully. Just press the button with the fuel pump icon near the door unlock button.
