BMW anti-theft horn location: Open the front hood, facing the engine, it is located on the far right. BMW model categories: The 1 Series is a compact car, the 2 Series is a small to mid-sized coupe, the 3 Series is a mid-sized car, the 4 Series is a mid-sized coupe (including convertibles), the 5 Series is a mid to large-sized car, the 6 Series is a mid to large-sized coupe (including convertibles), and the 7 Series is a luxury D-segment sedan. BMW powertrain systems: The i Series represents BMW's electric and hybrid vehicle lineup, M denotes BMW's high-performance and sports car versions, the X Series is BMW's dedicated SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) lineup, and the Z Series is BMW's entry-level sports car. The production version of the BMW 4 Series is essentially derived from the 4 Series Coupe concept car, replacing the previous 3 Series Coupe.
The location of the anti-theft horn in the BMWs I've driven is usually hidden under the hood, near the front fender or firewall area. To be more specific, for example, in older 3 Series models, it's located near the left front wheel well, protected by a plastic cover to prevent water ingress. I remember one time during rainy weather when the horn stopped working, and I suspected it was due to water accumulation causing a short circuit because of its low position. Later, upon self-inspection, I found that the wiring connector had come loose. The design in that location is indeed good, as it allows the alarm sound to travel far while reducing the risk of damage. If you can't find its location, I recommend opening the hood and carefully feeling along the inner side of the fender or checking the diagrams in the owner's manual. Don't forget to regularly clean leaves and debris to prevent corrosion and extend its lifespan.
