Can I discard the original ETC when changing cars?

After changing cars, the original ETC needs to be canceled. Before changing cars, you need to deregister the old car's ETC first. Then, the car owner needs to bring their ID card, vehicle license, ETC card, and OBU device to the ETC service center to complete the removal procedure. After that, use the removal receipt issued by the ETC service center to terminate the contract at the contracted bank. ETC activation method: Insert and remove the ETC card twice in succession until the electronic tag screen displays "Bluetooth is on." If inserting and removing twice without the electronic tag attached shows "tag invalid," this is normal and does not affect activation.
