The antifreeze in the Magotan is located in a small pink liquid reservoir on the left side of the engine compartment. The filling position is in the middle of the reservoir, marked by two horizontal lines. If the fluid level is below the MIN mark, antifreeze should be added immediately. Antifreeze prevents the coolant from freezing and damaging the engine cylinder block during cold winter parking. Its full name is antifreeze coolant. The Magotan is a mid-size car launched by FAW-Volkswagen, with body dimensions of 4866mm in length, 1832mm in width, and 1464mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2871mm. The Magotan is equipped with numerous safety features, including ABS, EBD, brake assist, traction control, dynamic stability control system, auto hold, hill start assist, rear radar, and front and side airbags for the driver and passenger seats.

I often enjoy checking my Magotan's condition myself. The coolant is located in the engine compartment, inside a translucent white plastic reservoir. Just open the hood and look towards the front right to find it. It's marked with MIN and MAX level indicators, and the pink liquid inside is the coolant. Remember to always check only when the engine is completely cool - opening the cap on a hot engine risks steam burns. If the level is low, top it up with the same type of coolant, and never mix different colors or brands. Actually, coolant isn't just for winter - it also prevents engine overheating in summer. Just check the level monthly during routine inspections. If you notice it dropping rapidly, there might be a leak, and you should immediately visit a repair shop to check the hoses or water pump.

Having repaired cars for over a decade, I can tell you that the coolant reservoir of the Magotan is located at the front of the engine compartment. Just follow the radiator pipes and you'll find a translucent plastic reservoir. The reservoir usually has a blue or pink cap, and the coolant level should be checked when the engine is cold, between the MAX and MIN marks. It's common to see car owners simply adding water when the level is low, but this can easily lead to scale buildup and clog the radiator fins. It's best to use Volkswagen's genuine G12 or G13 coolant and replace it every two years. If the coolant color turns cloudy, it indicates deterioration and the entire tank needs to be replaced. When topping up, don't exceed the upper limit, as thermal expansion can cause overflow. Long-term neglect may result in poor heating or even the radiator boiling over. During inspection, also feel the hoses to check for any signs of aging.

When I first bought my car, I also spent a long time looking for the coolant. Later, I found out that in the Magotan, it's located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It's a white plastic container, about the size of a drink bottle, with a cap marked with a thermometer symbol. The pink or green liquid inside should be half a finger's width below the upper line when the engine is cold. If the level is below the mark, just buy a bottle of the same type from the dealership and pour it in—don't mix it with other colors. Actually, coolant isn't expensive; one bottle lasts one or two years. Remember to pop the hood and check every three months, especially before winter. If it freezes below zero, the engine could be in trouble.
