The amplifier of the LaCrosse is located inside the right trim panel of the trunk. The streamlined design of the 2022 Buick LaCrosse ensures aerodynamic advantages. Thanks to the newly designed body proportions, precisely optimized local shapes, and over 1,000 hours of testing and analysis. The longer and lower body is closer to the low-drag prototype, with carefully simulated and calculated grille openings, relative positions of the hood, front and rear windshield angles, etc., striving for smoother airflow paths. Combined with extensive wind tunnel testing, each surface of the body is optimized one by one, creating an aerodynamic shape with a drag coefficient of 0.29cd.
