The ambient temperature sensor is generally installed on the front bumper mounting bracket and is also a thermistor. A temperature sensor refers to a sensor that can detect temperature and convert it into an available output signal. The temperature sensor is the core component of temperature measuring instruments, with a wide variety of types. According to the measurement method, it can be divided into two categories: contact and non-contact. Based on the characteristics of the sensor material and electronic components, it can be classified into thermistors and thermocouples. Functions of the ambient temperature sensor: 1. It detects the external ambient temperature, and the control system determines the control method based on the difference between the external temperature and the internal temperature; 2. It provides the ECU with the temperature signal outside the vehicle compartment. The ECU compares this signal with the internal temperature signal to determine the temperature inside the vehicle compartment, meeting the needs of the occupants.
