Where is the air intake for the Tiguan's air conditioning?

The air conditioning system in a car has two air intakes: one is for the external circulation, located in the box containing the cabin air filter beneath the windshield; the other is for the internal circulation, found as two circular vents on either side of the dashboard inside the cabin. Most vehicles have an air filtration device installed at the external circulation intake. There are several reasons why a car's air conditioning might not be cooling effectively: 1. Excessive refrigerant: This can reduce cooling efficiency. If the refrigerant or the refrigeration oil contains too many impurities, minor blockages can occur, leading to insufficient cooling capacity. 2. Insufficient refrigerant: A lack of refrigerant results in inadequate cooling. A dirty condenser or a loose compressor drive belt can also cause the air conditioning to blow warm air. 3. Excessive impurities in the refrigerant or refrigeration oil: Minor blockages can occur, leading to insufficient cooling capacity. If there are too many contaminants in the refrigerant or refrigeration oil throughout the entire air conditioning system, the filter screen of the filter will inevitably become clogged, reducing the flow of refrigerant, increasing resistance, and decreasing the amount of refrigerant reaching the expansion valve, thereby causing insufficient cooling capacity.
