JAC Tongyue's air filter is located on the passenger side. Open the storage compartment, remove the fixed axle below the compartment, and open the plastic limit block on one side. You will see a vertical plastic pin. Remove the pin to take out the two air filters. The air filter, commonly known as the pollen filter, filters the air entering the car from the outside, improving air cleanliness. The JAC Tongyue features a bird's nest-style fully load-bearing body structure and was the first to be equipped with Bosch 8.1 version ABS plus EBD, which was previously only used in mid-to-high-end cars. In terms of body dimensions, the JAC Tongyue measures 3965mm in length, 1650mm in width, and 1465mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2410mm.

What is the most suitable gear for an automatic transmission when going downhill?

When going downhill with an automatic transmission, you should shift from D (Drive) to a low gear. Some automatic transmissions have an L (Low) gear, which is the low-speed gear. For safety reasons, when descending a long slope, the L gear can utilize engine braking to control the vehicle's speed, reducing the frequency of using the brakes and preventing brake fade due to excessive braking, which could lead to dangerous situations. Before descending, always brake early and enter the slope at a slower speed. Shift to the appropriate gear before starting the descent, usually L gear or manual 1st or 2nd gear, to fully utilize engine braking and reduce the vehicle's speed. Never coast in neutral, and avoid shifting gears once you have entered the slope. Use the brakes cautiously when going downhill, applying them intermittently to control speed. Always reduce speed before entering a curve to prevent rollover. Avoid emergency braking whenever possible, and if emergency braking is necessary, maintain straight-line driving. After emergency braking, always check the brakes before continuing to drive. When steering downhill, apply gentle inputs and avoid sudden turns to prevent loss of control and rollover. Maintain a distance of at least 50 meters between vehicles, and increase the following distance appropriately based on the slope length and vehicle load.

Is Water Accumulation in the Car Chassis a Serious Issue?

Water accumulation in the vehicle chassis can have significant impacts on the car. Since the chassis is close to the ground, accumulated water can easily lead to rusting. Therefore, it is essential to pay attention to the cleaning and rust-proof treatment of the car chassis. Specific details are as follows: 1. Chassis Maintenance: Chassis maintenance can be performed at a repair shop or car wash for cleaning and rust-proof treatment. If necessary, installing a chassis armor can help prevent impacts and extend the service life. 2. Precautions: In daily use, owners should try to park in dry, elevated areas to avoid water accumulation on the ground. Parking on a slightly inclined surface can also prevent water from staying under the car for prolonged periods. Driving on waterlogged roads can reduce the car's braking performance and increase the risk of skidding.

What are the differences between transverse and longitudinal transmissions?

Here are the key differences between transverse and longitudinal transmissions: 1. Different mounting orientations: A transverse engine is parallel to the front axle of the vehicle, with the transmission placed horizontally alongside the engine. In contrast, a longitudinal engine is perpendicular to the front axle, with the transmission mounted longitudinally behind the engine. 2. Different space requirements: Transverse engines are commonly found in small-displacement vehicles with limited body dimensions, as their layout occupies less cabin space. Longitudinal engines, typically used in large-displacement vehicles with ample body space, require more cabin room due to their larger size, but offer better performance with minimal impact on cabin space. 3. Different power output directions: The transverse engine's power output is perpendicular to the vehicle's forward motion, transmitting power horizontally through the transmission to the half-shafts. The longitudinal engine's power output aligns parallel to the vehicle's direction of travel, delivering power longitudinally through the transmission to the driveshaft.

What is the valve adjustment method for the 430 Weichai P12?

430 Weichai P12 valve adjustment method: 1. Turn the engine to the compression top dead center of cylinder 1 (align with the OT mark, intake valve of cylinder 6 opens), adjust the intake valve clearance of cylinders 1, 2, and 4 to 0.4mm. 2. At the flywheel end, turn the engine counterclockwise to align with the "16" mark on the outer edge of the flywheel. First adjust the exhaust valve clearance of cylinder 1 to 0.5mm, then adjust the brake clearance of cylinder 1 to 1.35mm. 3. Continue turning the engine counterclockwise at the flywheel end to align with the "25" mark on the outer edge of the flywheel. First adjust the exhaust valve clearance of cylinder 5 to 0.5mm, then adjust the brake clearance of cylinder 5 to 1.35mm.

Is the Qashqai a three-cylinder or four-cylinder?

The Qashqai is a four-cylinder vehicle. Relevant details are as follows: 1. Exterior Design: The new Qashqai's exterior design is bolder and sharper compared to the new X-Trail, retaining the 'V' shaped front grille, a signature design language of Nissan, paired with sharp headlight clusters, leaving a lasting impression. The side profile of the new Qashqai is not overly adorned with lines but adopts the conventional rounded styling of urban SUVs, with a pronounced three-dimensional effect at the rear, though the overall aesthetic is somewhat understated compared to the striking front face. 2. Interior: Inside, the new Qashqai's cockpit resembles that of the new X-Trail, featuring a floating large-size display, a full LCD instrument panel, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and an electronic gear shift, among other elements, with technological features and a sense of premium quality surpassing the current model. There are also corresponding upgrades in power. According to overseas market information, the new car will be equipped with a 1.3T four-cylinder engine, paired with a 12V mild hybrid system, with a maximum output of 138 horsepower for the manual transmission version and 156 horsepower for the CVT version.
