Volkswagen's air conditioning filter is located inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. Open the engine hood, remove the four screws on the baffle, and lift the baffle to see the air conditioning filter. Below are the steps to remove the Volkswagen air conditioning filter: 1. There is a black plastic panel at the upper part of the passenger footwell with two retractable clips; pull them to remove the panel. 2. Then disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, remove the body computer, and take off the two 12mm screw caps securing the body computer bracket. 3. Next, remove the panel on the left side of the passenger footwell, which is secured by four screws, and then detach it.
