Where is the air conditioning filter located in the new Teana?

The air conditioning filter of the new Teana is located below the glove box on the passenger side, near the left foot area of the passenger seat. The air filter housing is positioned behind the air intake and can be difficult to locate, typically requiring one to reach in to find it. To access it, you can recline the seat back and move the seat backward, then lie down and reach in to see the air filter housing. Simply unclip the fasteners and remove the housing cover to reveal the filter. The Teana is a flagship mid-to-high-end luxury sedan under Nissan, with dimensions of 4868mm in length, 1830mm in width, and 1490mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2775mm. In terms of exterior design, the Teana features sharply angled headlights, and the arc of the integrated body bumper rises from both sides to the outer edges of the headlights, then extends naturally from the edges of the headlights to form a sleek waistline that runs from front to rear.
Last time I changed the cabin air filter myself was quite a hassle. In the new Teana, the filter is hidden behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, requiring the entire glove box to be removed for access. First, empty all items from the glove box, then firmly press the plastic tabs on both sides to release the glove box from its hooks, allowing the entire compartment to drop down. You'll see a black cover panel over the filter housing—pinch the clips to remove it and pull out the old filter. Remember to check the arrow direction when installing the new filter to avoid reversing it, which could affect airflow. The whole process is most convenient when kneeling in the passenger seat; it's advisable to have a foam pad to protect your knees.
As a long-distance driver, I check the cabin air filter every quarter. The filter compartment in the new Teana is quite discreetly designed, located deep inside the glove box. After opening the passenger-side storage compartment, don't rush to remove screws. First locate the retaining clips on the inner walls of both sides of the box, then squeeze them simultaneously toward the center to make the entire glove box sag downward. At this point, look down behind the box to find a rectangular cover with a handle. Pull the protruding part vertically to remove the cover, and you'll see the white filter lying in the sliding groove. When removing it, pay attention to the airflow direction mark on the side. When installing the new filter, align it with the mark and press it in.
