Where is the air conditioning filter located in the Enclave?

The air conditioning filter in the Enclave is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. To replace the air conditioning filter, you need to open the glove compartment. On the right side, there is a damper that requires professional tools to pry one side off. Inside the glove compartment, there are also two limiters that need to be pressed inward slightly to remove the glove compartment. The Enclave measures 4981mm in length, 1953mm in width, and 1727mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2863mm, making it a mid-to-large-sized SUV. The Enclave is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum power of 174kW and a maximum torque of 350Nm. The maximum power is achieved at 5000 rpm, while the maximum torque is available between 1500 to 4000 rpm.
I remember changing the Enclave's cabin air filter several times. It's located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. First, you need to pull open the glove box, then press the side button to fully release it. Inside, you'll see a small cover panel - just pry it open to access the filter. My first attempt was quite clumsy and took nearly 10 minutes, but it became much easier once I got familiar with the process. I recommend checking this filter regularly, especially during spring when pollen levels are high. A dirty filter affects cabin air quality and may cause sneezing. Generally, it's best to replace it every 6 months or 10,000 kilometers. If you notice reduced airflow or odd odors from the AC while driving, check if the filter is clogged immediately. The design is quite thoughtful - positioned behind the glove box without needing to crawl under the car or open the hood, making it perfect for DIY maintenance.
