Where is the air conditioning filter located in the Audi A4?

Audi A4 has two air conditioning filters. One is the intake filter, located at the lower left of the engine compartment's cover panel. To remove the intake filter, first take off the foam on the far left, then lift the sealing strip to open the cover panel and reveal the air conditioning filter. The other is the blower filter, located above the passenger seat footwell. Below is the replacement method for the Audi A4 air conditioning filters: 1. Replacing the engine compartment air conditioning filter: The intake filter is at the lower left of the engine compartment's cover panel. First remove the foam on the far left, then lift the sealing strip to open the cover panel and reveal the air conditioning filter. The filter is housed in a rectangular frame; unclip the frame's fasteners and remove it entirely. Install the new air conditioning filter and clean the intake duct. Reassemble in reverse order. 2. Replacing the blower air conditioning filter: The blower filter is above the passenger seat footwell, blocked by a storage compartment. After removing the storage compartment, you'll see a long cover. Remove the cover, take out the old filter, install the new one, and reassemble in reverse order.
I replaced this myself last time, it's behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. First you need to remove those plastic screws under the glove box, a small Phillips screwdriver will do. After lowering the entire glove box, there's a long black plastic cover inside secured with clips. Apply some pressure to release the clips, remove the cover and you'll see the white cabin air filter. Remember there are arrow markings on the side of the filter - align them with the airflow direction when installing the new one. Personally I recommend changing it every spring, especially in northern areas with lots of willow catkins. After replacement, you'll feel the air inside the car becomes much fresher.
