Where is the air conditioning drip location under the Sylphy chassis?

The air conditioning drip location under the Sylphy chassis is generally situated in the middle-right section beneath the center console, connected by a hose from below the evaporator to the chassis. Drainage from the chassis air conditioning system is normal: In summer, after driving for a while and then stopping the car for some time, you may notice water dripping from the middle-right section of the chassis. Soon, a puddle of clean, transparent water can be seen on the ground beneath the car. This is the normal drainage phenomenon of the car's air conditioning system. Process of air conditioning system drainage under the chassis: The air conditioning compressor compresses the refrigerant, which then expands through a valve, releasing heat and lowering the refrigerant's temperature. The refrigerant flows into the evaporator inside the car, absorbing heat from the cabin air through contact with the evaporator, and is then compressed again and expanded once more, repeating this cycle to gradually remove heat from the cabin air. Since the air contains a lot of water vapor, when it encounters the very cold evaporator, it turns into water. As condensation accumulates, it flows out through the air conditioning drain, which is typically located under the chassis. Hence, water drains from beneath the car. Reason for air conditioning drip under the chassis: Due to the high temperature inside the car, the cooling system is activated to lower the cabin temperature. At this point, moisture from the hot air inside condenses on the extremely cold heat-absorbing fins of the evaporator and is collected by the plastic housing of the evaporator, then drained out of the car via a pipe. The low-pressure pipe of the car's air conditioning system is not wrapped with insulating foam, making the pipe surface prone to condensing moisture from the air. Water droplets also tend to accumulate and drip from the lowest point of the pipe.
I usually drive a Sylphy to commute and have noticed that when the AC is on, the water drips mainly under the right side of the chassis, roughly below the front passenger seat area. During hot summer days, water droplets start dripping within minutes after turning on the AC. This is the normal drainage point for condensation water from the AC system—designers use a small tube to direct the water to the ground. If you're concerned about locating the exact spot, you can crouch down and use your phone's flashlight to check under the front passenger seat area; there's a small black hole where the water drips. This is completely normal and indicates the AC is dehumidifying. However, if water leaks onto the car's interior carpet or into the engine bay, you should check if the drainage tube is clogged, as this could lead to mold growth in summer, affecting health. Regularly opening windows for ventilation can also reduce condensation buildup.
