Where is the air conditioning condenser located in a sedan?

In sedans, the air conditioning condenser is typically positioned at the front of the engine, directly behind the grille that faces the incoming wind. This placement allows the refrigerant in the pipes to be cooled by the oncoming airflow while the vehicle is in motion. However, some condensers may also be installed on the sides of the vehicle body. The condenser is a component of the refrigeration system and a type of heat exchanger. It converts gas or vapor into liquid and rapidly transfers heat from the pipes to the surrounding air. Functions of the condenser: 1. The air removes the superheated portion of the high-temperature refrigerant gas delivered by the compressor, turning it into dry saturated vapor; 2. It facilitates the liquefaction of air while maintaining a constant saturation temperature; 3. When the air temperature is lower than the condensation temperature, it further cools the already liquefied refrigerant to match the temperature of the surrounding air, serving a cooling purpose.
