Lifan Motors is produced in the Chongqing Automobile Park. Lifan Motors is a Chinese independent automobile brand and one of the largest private enterprises in China. Lifan Motors was established in 1992 and belongs to Lifan Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Chongqing Lifan Holdings Co., Ltd. Below is an introduction to Lifan Motors: 1. Lifan Motors is located in the Chongqing Automobile Park, with a total planned area of 700 mu, of which 300 mu was constructed in the first phase. The factory is adjacent to four highways—National Highways 210, 212, 319, and the city's ring road—providing direct access to major and medium-sized cities across the country. It is approximately 1 km from Chongqing's largest container terminal, Cuntan. 2. The first product was named Lifan 520. On March 3, 2014, the Iraqi State Company for Automotive Industry held an offline ceremony for the Lifan Motors assembly production line, marking the official launch of Lifan Motors' assembled vehicle production in Iraq.

We Chongqing folks are so familiar with the Lifan brand - it's produced right here in our mountainous city! Their headquarters is in Yubei District, and you can spot the Lifan building when driving along Jinkai Avenue. Their most famous production base is near Yuanyang - I've visited the complete vehicle factory there, where even the painting workshop stretches as long as three football fields. In recent years, Lifan taxis like the 620 and 820 models were everywhere on our streets, all locally produced. Speaking of specialties, Lifan has a research institute in Chongqing dedicated to new energy vehicle development - that hydrogen concept car we saw at the last auto show was developed there.

Last time I traveled to Chongqing, I specifically looked it up. Lifan Motors' production base is located in the Northern New Area of Chongqing. From the Eling Observatory, I could see the roofs of Lifan's factory through binoculars. The locals told me they produce SUVs and electric vehicles there. What's particularly interesting is that they have more than one production site – there's also a smart factory in Liangjiang New Area that uses robots to manufacture vehicles, producing models like the Maiwei. However, nowadays you don't see many Lifan vehicles on Chongqing streets anymore, though they still continue producing trucks for export to Africa.

During my car repair work, I've had contact with Lifan's parts supply chain. Their production bases are mainly concentrated in Chongqing, with manufacturing facilities in both Jiangbei District and Beibei District. The engine plant is located in the Caijia Industrial Park. Their stamping workshop uses equipment from Jinan No.2 Machine Tool Group, while the welding line employs German KUKA robots, with overall processes benchmarked against international standards. The recently developed Ruilan new energy vehicle production line is at the Yubei factory, where AGVs are used for parts transportation, demonstrating quite high automation levels.
