Where is car film generally applied?

Car window tinting is applied to the front and rear windshields, side windows, and sunroof. The highest requirements for heat insulation film are for the front windshield. According to the traffic safety regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, the light transmittance of the front windshield must be greater than 70% to ensure driving safety. Dark tinted heat insulation film is most unsuitable for the front windshield. Additionally, when selecting the UV protection index of the heat insulation film, the higher the better, as it can protect the dashboard components from premature aging caused by prolonged sun exposure. Below are some precautions for car window tinting: 1. Avoid rolling down the windows within three days after applying the film; 2. Do not wash the car within three days; 3. For vehicles with a sunroof, avoid opening the sunroof while driving, especially at high speeds, within three days; 4. Do not use strong adhesive labels directly on the film within one month of application to prevent local detachment from the glass; 5. In winter, it is recommended not to roll down the windows or wash the car within one week after applying the film. The front and rear windshields take about a month to fully dry.
