BYD is a Chinese brand headquartered in Nanshan, Shenzhen, with factories distributed across the country, including major cities like Xi'an, Changsha, and Hangzhou. When I was on a business trip to Shenzhen last time, I passed by the BYD headquarters. That campus is enormous, with office areas, R&D centers, and several vehicle assembly plants. The Shenzhen base produces high-end models, such as the BYD Han. The Xi'an factory mainly handles the Qin and Song series, while the Changsha plant is a key production hub for new energy vehicles. With BYD's global sales surging, overseas factories have also begun to be deployed. For example, the new base in Rayong, Thailand, started production last year, specifically catering to the Southeast Asian market. BYD also plans to build factories in Europe, but the main production capacity remains in China. This domestic brand is truly getting stronger and stronger!

As a car enthusiast who follows the development of domestic vehicles, I can tell you that BYD's production bases are mainly concentrated in China but are widely distributed. Shenzhen serves as the headquarters, producing not only complete vehicles but also batteries and chips. Other bases have their own specialized roles. For example, the Changsha factory specializes in manufacturing electric buses and Yuan series SUVs, while the Changzhou base focuses on new energy vehicles from the Ocean series. This year, BYD also established a new super factory in Jinan, Shandong, dedicated to producing the popular Qin PLUS. Overseas, they have set up a battery assembly plant in Brazil, and a production base is under construction in Hungary. Despite global expansion, about 90% of mass-produced vehicles still come from domestic facilities, with the Xi'an factory having the largest production capacity—averaging one new car rolling off the line every minute.

Do SUV Panoramic Sunroofs Need Tinting?

SUV panoramic sunroofs do not require tinting because the sunroof glass already has UV protection and heat insulation functions. Applying a tint would only reduce the interior light levels. Compared to standard car sunroofs, panoramic sunroofs have a much larger surface area, allowing occupants to see nearly the entire view above. Most modern vehicles with panoramic sunroofs feature two separate glass panels - front and rear - giving both seating rows access to the sunroof. Based on opening mechanisms, panoramic sunroofs can be categorized into: fixed panoramic sunroofs, segmented opening panoramic sunroofs, and full-opening panoramic sunroofs. The segmented opening type maintains a standard sunroof above the front seats while adding a fixed glass panel above the rear seats to enhance light transmission and achieve the panoramic effect.

Why is the steering wheel slightly tilted to the right?

The reasons for the steering wheel being slightly tilted to the right include: insufficient tire pressure, uneven wear of tire treads, issues with the vehicle's suspension system, power steering problems, vehicle shock absorbers, and wheel alignment problems. Check if there is excessive play in the steering gear, as excessive free play in the steering wheel can cause it to drift automatically. Inspection method: Shake the steering wheel forcefully; there should be no play left or right, and the vertical free travel should not be excessive, with a good surface feel. Check the free play of the steering wheel and all pedals. The entire steering mechanism should be inspected, including: the gear oil in the steering gear, and whether there is a lack of grease in various ball joints, control arms, tie rods, drag links, etc.

What is the fuel consumption of the 2021 Sylphy?

Maintenance outside 4S shops does not affect the warranty. Here are the maintenance precautions: 1. Choice of maintenance location: According to Article 9 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law: Consumers have the right to independently choose goods or services, and as car owners, they also have the right to choose vehicle maintenance operators. 2. Precautions for external maintenance: As consumers, they can freely choose repair shops for maintenance. As long as the vehicle damage is not caused by maintenance reasons, they can normally enjoy the warranty. If consumers fail to use, maintain, or repair the product correctly according to the instruction manual, resulting in damage, the operator is not responsible for the three guarantees. In other words, except for the maintenance location, other requirements cannot be changed.

How Long Can You Drive with the Oil Warning Light On?

When the oil warning light comes on, you should not continue driving and must pull over immediately. The reasons for the oil warning light illuminating are as follows: Insufficient oil level: High engine temperature, oil pump wear leading to abnormal operation, improper internal engine coordination, excessive carbon buildup clogging the oil filter, or the pressure relief valve being set too low or improperly adjusted. Engine oil, also known as engine lubricant, is composed of base oil and additives. Low oil level: If the yellow oil warning light comes on while driving, indicating low oil level, this usually means the engine is low on oil. If the yellow oil light turns on, you should park the car in a safe location and check the oil level. If the dipstick shows the oil level is outside the normal range, you need to add oil.

What is the difference between an auto trading company and a 4S store?

Here are the specific differences between auto trading companies and 4S stores: 1. Authorization: 4S stores are authorized to sell cars, while auto trading companies are not. A 4S store is an officially authorized dealer of a car brand manufacturer, typically selling only one brand's models, whereas an auto trading company can sell vehicles from multiple brands. 2. Business scope: Auto trading companies generally only handle car sales, insurance, and vehicle loans; 4S stores offer a wide range of services including car sales, repairs, parts, maintenance, and test drive appointments. 3. After-sales service: 4S stores integrate car sales, repairs, after-sales service, and parts sales into one comprehensive service, while auto trading companies do not provide after-sales service and lack sufficient after-sales guarantees.

What Causes Brake Noise in Snowy Weather?

Specific reasons for brake noise in snowy weather: 1. Improper installation of brake pads: When installing new brake pads, the old brake discs were not resurfaced, resulting in a poor fit. Improper installation or failing to resurface the old discs before installing new brake pads will cause the new pads to rub directly against the uneven surface of the old discs, ultimately leading to uneven wear on the new brake pads. 2. Brake system malfunction: There may be inherent defects in the brake system itself, causing the brake pads to only partially contact the brake discs. This increases the pressure per unit area on the brakes, resulting in noise. It is recommended to check components such as the calipers and guide pins. 3. Presence of foreign objects: Foreign objects causing a mismatch in the contact surfaces, leading to noise.
