Where Does Water Enter the Engine?

Water usually enters the engine through the exhaust valve, while intake valve water ingress occurs during driving. Water ingress can cause issues with the engine connecting rod, leading to engine failure. If the engine gets flooded, immediately stop driving and seek professional inspection and repair. Below are precautions for using the gears in an automatic transmission vehicle: 1. Avoid coasting in N gear: The vehicle must come to a complete stop before shifting into reverse gear, and coasting in N gear is prohibited. 2. Only switch to manual mode while in D gear: When the vehicle is moving in D gear, only manual mode can be engaged; switching to other gears is not allowed. 3. Do not shift into N gear while driving: Avoid shifting into N gear while the vehicle is in motion. If the gearshift accidentally moves to N gear, immediately release the accelerator and wait for the engine to idle before shifting back to D gear.
