G15 Shenyang-Haikou Expressway runs from Shenyang in Liaoning Province to Haikou in Hainan Province, passing through Yingkou, Dalian, Yantai, Qingdao, Rizhao, Lianyungang, Yancheng, Nantong, Shanghai, Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Ningde, Fuzhou, Putian, Quanzhou, Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Chaozhou, Shantou, Jieyang, Shanwei, Huizhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Foshan, Jiangmen, Yangjiang, Maoming, and Zhanjiang, with a total length of 3,710 kilometers. The G15 Shenyang-Haikou Expressway was originally part of the Tongjiang-Sanya Expressway and is now the Shenyang-Haikou route in the unified national expressway plan. It is the only expressway that runs through the southeastern coastal region of China. The planned route of the G15 Shenyang-Haikou Expressway consists of the original national trunk highway Tongjiang-Sanya route from Shenyang to Lianyungang, the national key highway Jiayin-Nanping route from Lianyungang to Shanghai, and the Tongjiang-Sanya route from Shanghai to Haikou.
