De-Shang Expressway runs from Dezhou in Shandong Province to Shangrao in Jiangxi Province. It is a highway route within China, serving as the western parallel route to the Beijing-Taipei Expressway (National Expressway G3), which is a radial trunk line of the National Expressway Network. The expressway passes through Henan and Anhui provinces, with a total length of 947.381 km. The section from Dezhou to Heze was originally part of the De-Shang Expressway planned by Shandong Province, while the section south of Heze is an extended version of the former Ji-Qi Expressway. Based on the route direction, expressways are categorized into vertical, horizontal, radial, ring, connecting, and branch lines, distinguished by different numbering systems. Service areas are established approximately every 50 kilometers along the route, equipped with gas stations, parking lots, rest areas, restaurants, restrooms, and auto repair shops.
