Where are the position lights located?

Position lights are located at the highest points of the front and rear of the vehicle. The front position lights are situated beside the two headlights, while the rear position lights are usually integrated with the brake lights. Position lights are primarily used during driving in conditions such as dusk, overcast days, or rainy/foggy weather to indicate the vehicle's width and height. This helps other drivers determine relative positions and vehicle dimensions during encounters or overtaking. Typically, position lights are white at the front and red at the rear. The control switch for position lights is the light knob. For vehicles with only manual light control, turning the knob one position activates the position lights, and turning it further activates the headlights. For vehicles equipped with automatic headlights, setting the switch to AUTO position will automatically illuminate the position lights when ambient light is low.
