I just finished the Subject 1 test in Xi'an, and there are plenty of test centers. Basically, every district branch of the Vehicle Management Office has a test site. For example, the East District Branch is located on Tongyuan Road in Baqiao District, the West District Branch is on Tiantai 8th Road in Fengdong New Town, and the South District is near Xijiang Village on Yanhuan Middle Road. The system will assign a specific location when you book the test, so make sure to check the address carefully in the SMS you receive. Parking at the test center might be tight, so taking a taxi is safer. Now the test centers are spread out—my neighbor who lives in the northern suburbs took the test last month at the North District Branch on Caotan 7th Road, which was quite convenient. But be sure to leave early to avoid traffic jams that could delay your test—it would be a huge loss.

When will the new China VI emission standards be implemented?

China VI emission standards were officially implemented on July 1, 2019. Here is relevant information: 1. China VI: The China VI emission standard, also known as the National Sixth Stage Emission Standard for Motor Vehicle Pollutants, was established to implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, aiming to control motor vehicle pollutant emissions and improve ambient air quality. 2. China VI emission standards have lower emission limits compared to China V: Compared to China V emission standards, China VI standards reduce carbon monoxide emissions from gasoline vehicles by 50%, total hydrocarbon and non-methane hydrocarbon emission limits by 50%, and nitrogen oxide emission limits are tightened by 42%. These emission standards have comprehensively exceeded European emission standards. Therefore, China VI emission standards are also known as the strictest emission standards in history.

How to Check the Manufacturing Year of Car Glass?

You can check the manufacturing year of car glass on the glass itself: 1. Number plus dots: The dots can be either before or after the number. Dots before the number indicate the first half of the year - subtract the number of dots from 7. Dots after the number indicate the second half of the year - subtract the number of dots from 13; 2. Number plus small dots and large dots: The number represents the year, small dots represent the quarter (usually 4 dots), and large dots represent the corresponding month in that quarter (usually 3 dots); 3. First line shows number plus small dots, second line shows large dots plus small dots: The number indicates the production year, small dots on the first line represent months (1 dot for January up to 12 dots for December), while the second line represents days in that month - large dots stand for 10 days and small dots represent single days.

Can Tap Water Replace Automotive Glass Cleaner?

Automotive glass cleaner cannot be replaced with tap water. The functions of automotive glass cleaner include the following 4 points: 1. Cleaning performance: Windshield washer fluid is formulated with multiple surfactants and additives. Surfactants typically have functions such as wetting, penetrating, and solubilizing, thereby achieving cleaning and stain removal effects. 2. Antifreeze performance: It can significantly lower the freezing point of the liquid, thus providing antifreeze protection and quickly dissolving frost. 3. Anti-fog performance: A single-molecule protective layer forms on the glass surface, preventing the formation of fog droplets and ensuring the windshield remains clear and transparent with unobstructed visibility. 4. Anti-static performance: After cleaning with windshield washer fluid, substances adsorbed on the glass surface can eliminate static charges on the glass, providing anti-static properties.

What is the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers for Volkswagen sedans?

Volkswagen sedans have a fuel consumption of 6.7~8.0L/100km. Actual fuel consumption depends on various factors, so the specific consumption should be based on actual usage. Apart from vehicle design and engine factors, the real waste of fuel is caused by the driver's habits, with frequent sudden braking and rapid acceleration being the primary reasons for increased fuel consumption. Improper driving habits: Fuel consumption is closely related to the driver's habits, such as idling for long periods without turning off the engine or frequent ignition, aggressive acceleration or frequent braking while driving, driving at low gear with high speed or high gear with low speed, etc. All these driving habits significantly "contribute" to increased fuel consumption. Abnormal tire pressure and tire wear: Low tire pressure increases friction between the tires and the ground, leading to greater resistance and higher fuel consumption. Normal tire pressure is around 2.5bar, which can be slightly reduced by 0.1bar in summer. Of course, tire pressure should not be too high either; it's best to inflate according to the vehicle's standard values. Additionally, if the tires are severely worn, frequent slipping can occur, which also increases fuel consumption. Fuel quality and carbon deposits: Many drivers overlook fuel quality. Poor-quality gasoline can lead to increased carbon deposits, which roughen the intake pipe walls, affecting air intake and the quality of the air-fuel mixture, causing a sharp rise in fuel consumption. Therefore, gasoline quality should not be ignored. Regular maintenance at 4S stores is a forward-looking investment, ensuring normal vehicle performance and saving unnecessary expenses in the long run.

How to Start the BYD Song?

To start the BYD Song, first, look around the vehicle to ensure safety before opening the door. Make sure the gear is in the parking position, press the brake pedal, and then press the one-button start key. Let the vehicle idle for about 30 seconds and check if any warning lights on the dashboard are abnormal. If everything is normal, shift to D gear to start moving. Precautions after starting are as follows: 1. Watch for obstacles: Carefully inspect the surroundings of the vehicle before starting, checking for any obstacles under the car or around the body. Cold starts require preheating the engine, with the preheating time depending on the temperature; generally, you can start once the idle speed returns to normal. Always remember to fasten your seatbelt and check if the driver's seat and rearview mirror positions are appropriate—adjust them if necessary. 2. Maintain a good sitting posture: A proper sitting posture isn’t just for show; it’s closely related to safe driving and comfort. A good posture requires the driver to rest their hands naturally on the steering wheel, with their back lightly touching the seat, eyes looking straight ahead, and feet naturally placed on the pedals. Avoid hunching over while driving. Sit facing the center of the steering wheel, with the weight of your wrists naturally resting on it, leaving enough room for movement in your elbows and knees. 3. Adjust the side mirrors: When adjusting the mirrors, your body should be in a natural driving position. Position the interior rearview mirror so that the scene is centered, showing a small part of your vehicle’s rear to help judge the distance and position of other vehicles. Adjust the side mirrors so that the horizon is centered horizontally, with a small part of your car’s body visible.

What is the normal pressure for a car's air conditioning system?

Under normal operating conditions of a general car's air conditioning system, the low pressure should be between 1.0-2.5 bar, and the high pressure should be between 15-18 bar. Here is some extended information on how to maintain a car's air conditioning system: 1. Comprehensive inspection of the air conditioning system: When using the air conditioning for the first time in summer, it is advisable to inspect the system first, such as checking the refrigerant and whether the air filter is too dirty through the reservoir, and whether there are any foreign objects in the radiator. 2. Pay attention to cleaning the air conditioning: Waiting until the air conditioning performance deteriorates before cleaning is not the right approach. The air filter should be replaced regularly. For example, in spring when there is more sand and dust, and willow catkins are flying around, these can stick to the filter, promoting bacterial growth and causing a musty smell in the air conditioning. Additionally, the condenser should be cleaned periodically, and the radiator should be removed for thorough cleaning.
