The drain holes on the Golf VI are located as follows: 1. Door drain holes: Located at the lower part of the door panel. After rain, water drains out from here. Due to their low position, many car owners may not notice these drain holes. 2. Sunroof drain holes: These are particularly easy to find, as they are located in the four corners of the sunroof area. They are usually visible when the sunroof is opened. This design is especially crucial for rainy days, playing a vital role. 3. Fuel tank cap drain hole: It is situated below the fuel tank filler cap, and this location is also relatively easy to find. Some fuel tanks may not be perfectly sealed, creating a concave area inside. Hence, this drain hole is designed to address this issue.

I remember the drainage holes on the Golf VI are mainly in a few places: There's a small hole on each side of the water guide channel under the windshield – this is the most prone to clogging. Last time I cleaned it, it was completely blocked with leaf mud. Then, there are drainage tube outlets at all four corners of the sunroof; you can see the small holes in the corners when you open the sunroof, and rainwater flows from here to the underside of the car. There's also a hidden hole in the spare tire well of the rear trunk – lift the spare tire mat to see it. If there's water accumulation on rainy days, check this hole first for blockages. The bottom edges of the doors also have concealed drainage outlets, often clogged with mud and sand. If the door makes a creaking sound when there's water inside, this is the issue. When checking the drainage holes, remember to use a thin wire to clear them, just be careful not to puncture the rubber seals.

What is a 6AT Transmission?

6AT transmission refers to a car's transmission having 6 gears. Generally speaking, the more gears there are, the more detailed the division, which greatly improves the car's fuel economy. The meaning of 6AT is a 6-speed automatic transmission. Some automatic transmissions have a manual mode, and this type of transmission is also called a semi-automatic transmission. AT is a torque converter transmission. Automatic transmissions also include AMT, DCT, and CVT. The AT transmission is the most mature and widely used transmission. DCT is also called a dual-clutch transmission. The structure of this transmission is similar to that of a manual transmission, with two sets of clutches. These two sets of clutches respectively control odd and even gears. The dual-clutch transmission has fast shifting speed, high transmission efficiency, and is very suitable for use with some small-displacement turbocharged engines. AMT is the earliest automatic transmission. The structure of this transmission is the same as that of a manual transmission, except that it has a set of control mechanisms that can control the clutch and gears. CVT transmissions are often used in some domestic or Japanese cars. This type of transmission is small in size, light in weight, and has a low cost. Most cars equipped with CVT transmissions are quite fuel-efficient. CVT transmissions have no jerking, and the smoothness of this transmission is very good. The jerking of AT transmissions during shifting is also quite small. Dual-clutch transmissions have noticeable jerking during low-speed shifting. AMT transmissions have very large jerking, and this type of transmission has been phased out. The research and manufacturing costs of AT transmissions are generally very high, and AT transmissions are often used in some high-end cars. A semi-automatic transmission combines the manual shifting and automatic shifting of a car. This transmission combines the advantages of automatic and manual transmissions, minimizing the power loss of the shifting system. Manual transmissions allow the driver to freely adjust gears and RPM according to their subjective will. The manual mode of a semi-automatic transmission is different from that of a purely manual car. Although it has a clutch device in its structure, it requires the driver to operate it, which means an automatic clutch. When using the manual mode in a semi-automatic car, you only need to switch to manual mode and adjust the gears up or down as the speed changes. If the speed does not match the corresponding gear, the gear will automatically shift down; if the speed is higher than the current gear, you need to manually shift up. Working principle: In terms of structure, a semi-automatic transmission mainly consists of an ordinary gearbox (the same as a manual transmission), an electronically controlled clutch, an automatic shifting mechanism, and an electronic control part. The function of the electronically controlled clutch is to automatically separate, engage, or "slip" the clutch as needed. During operation, the transmission ECU controls a stepper motor to push the clutch fork, separating or engaging the clutch. The function of the automatic shifting mechanism is to automatically engage the corresponding gear as needed. Generally, two stepper motors are set, both controlled by the transmission ECU. The gear lever setting is similar to that of an ordinary automatic transmission, with no clutch pedal. The operation of this transmission actually uses the automatic control part to simulate manual shifting. During normal driving, it is no different from a hydraulic automatic transmission, except that when stopped, the clutch is separated. Therefore, if you stop on a slope, you must step on the brake, otherwise the car will roll. If you use the manual mode, it will feel like driving a manual car, with very direct power delivery, eliminating the need to step on the clutch, and you don't need to shift gears one by one—you can skip gears when shifting up or down.

What kind of fuel does the new LaCrosse 20t use?

The new LaCrosse 20t uses 95 octane fuel. Introduction to 95 octane gasoline: 95 octane gasoline consists of 95% isooctane and 3% n-heptane. When the engine compression ratio is high, high-octane gasoline should be used. If low-octane gasoline is used with a high compression ratio, it can cause abnormal combustion, leading to knocking, increased fuel consumption, and reduced driving power. Benefits of 95 octane gasoline: Higher efficiency: 95 octane gasoline is purer and better, containing more isooctane, which significantly improves the anti-knock performance of vehicles using it. This allows the gasoline to burn more completely, resulting in higher efficiency. Environmental protection: It helps reduce pollutant emissions from vehicles. New vehicles can reduce nitrogen oxide and particulate emissions by 25% and 80%, respectively, while in-use vehicles can reduce overall emissions by 10%~15%. This plays a significant role in protecting the environment and improving air quality.

Where is the A/C expansion valve located on an Audi A4?

Audi A4's A/C expansion valve is positioned below the water collection panel. Specific location: Follow the visible section of the A/C piping until it becomes obscured. The expansion valve is located precisely at the concealed section within the high-pressure pipe between two tubes. The expansion valve itself is a small plastic mesh-like component approximately 10 centimeters in length. Function of the A/C expansion valve: The expansion valve serves to throttle and reduce pressure. When high-pressure refrigerant liquid condensed by the condenser passes through the throttle valve, it encounters resistance causing pressure drop. This leads to partial vaporization of the refrigerant liquid while absorbing latent heat of vaporization, consequently lowering its own temperature to become low-pressure, low-temperature wet steam before entering the evaporator. The thermal expansion valve is a primary component and one of the four major elements in refrigeration systems. Installed between the condenser (or receiver) and evaporator, with its outlet connected to the evaporator inlet and sensing bulb attached to the evaporator outlet, it serves as the boundary between high and low pressure in the refrigeration system. Before throttling, it's high-pressure saturated liquid or subcooled liquid; after throttling, it becomes a mixture of low-pressure, low-temperature saturated liquid and vapor refrigerant.
