When will the National VI emission standard be implemented in Zhejiang?

Zhejiang's National VI emission standard was implemented on July 1, 2019. From this date, National V vehicles could no longer be registered. However, National V vehicles sold and issued with a unified motor vehicle sales invoice before July 1, 2019, as well as those transferred from other provinces that meet the National V emission standard, could still be registered or transferred by the traffic management department of the public security authority before October 1, 2019 (excluding this date). Additional information: 1. Background of National VI: To resolutely win the battle for blue skies and effectively combat pollution from diesel trucks, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, along with three other departments, jointly issued the "Notice on the Implementation of the National VI Motor Vehicle Emission Standard" based on the State Council and provincial government's three-year action plan for winning the battle for blue skies, as well as the provincial government's action plan for tackling pollution from diesel trucks, in accordance with Zhejiang's actual conditions. 2. Implementation time of National VI: Starting from July 1, 2019, light-duty vehicles (including gasoline, diesel, gas, and hybrid vehicles) sold, registered, or transferred from other provinces within Zhejiang's administrative region must comply with or be stricter than the "Limits and Measurement Methods for Emissions from Light-Duty Vehicles (China VI)" (GB18352.6-2016) 6a stage standard requirements.
