Nissan e-Power will be launched in the second half of 2021. Meaning of e-Power: It consists of three parts: a 1.2L naturally aspirated engine, an 80kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, and a 1.47kWh battery. The engine is solely responsible for generating electricity, while the wheels are entirely driven by the electric motor. As a result, the engine can always operate at its optimal condition, providing better fuel economy and lower emissions. Nissan e-Power fuel consumption: The declared fuel consumption value is 4.1L/100km. By having the engine charge the battery, it eliminates the need for external charging and alleviates range anxiety.
