China III trucks have a mandatory scrapping period of 15 years. According to the national vehicle scrapping standards, light and heavy trucks have a mandatory scrapping period of 10 years, with a maximum extension of 5 years. As per regulations, registered motor vehicles will also be scrapped under the following circumstances: 1. Vehicles that, after repair and adjustment, still fail to meet the national safety technical standards for in-use vehicles; 2. Vehicles that fail to obtain the motor vehicle inspection qualification mark for three consecutive inspection cycles after the expiration of the inspection validity period; 3. Vehicles that, after repair, adjustment, or the adoption of control technology, still fail to meet national standards for in-use vehicles regarding atmospheric pollutant emissions or noise, such as China III trucks with non-compliant exhaust emissions.
