When to Use the Automatic S Gear?

Automatic S gear is used when overtaking. The S gear is the sports mode of the car. After shifting into S gear, the transmission can shift freely, but the shifting timing is delayed, allowing the engine to maintain high RPM for a longer time. This enables the car to move at low gear and high RPM for an extended period, resulting in greater torque output and acceleration. When using S gear, due to the increased RPM, the engine's fuel injection changes, and the force intensifies. Additionally, the suspension becomes stiffer compared to normal driving, reducing body roll during turns and minimizing nose-diving when braking. However, this also means that comfort is compromised in S gear mode.
