When to Use Hazard Warning Lights?

Hazard warning lights should be used in the following situations: 1. Temporary parking at night: When temporarily stopping during nighttime or in low visibility conditions, hazard lights should be activated to alert other vehicles; 2. When the vehicle cannot continue driving due to a malfunction and is parked on the roadside or emergency lane, both a warning triangle should be placed behind the vehicle and the hazard lights should be turned on; 3. When a vehicle breaks down and cannot continue moving, and is being towed, both the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle must have their hazard lights on. This serves to warn following vehicles that the leading vehicle is in a non-normal driving condition; 4. When driving in fog, rain, snow, sandstorms, hail, or other adverse weather conditions with visibility less than 100 meters, drivers should turn on fog lights or low beams, position lamps, and hazard warning lights.
