Drain the old oil by placing an oil drain pan and loosening the drain plug counterclockwise with a wrench to let the old oil flow out; 2. Open the engine oil cap and use an oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the oil filter counterclockwise; 3. Install a new sealing ring on the oil outlet, then slowly screw in the new oil filter by hand before tightening it further with a wrench (3-4 turns); 5. Refill the engine with fresh oil.
