What Voltage Charger is Used for Small Car Batteries
1 Answers
Small car battery chargers are 12 volts. Charging method: First connect the charger's (red) positive (+) terminal to the battery positive (+); then connect the negative (black wire) (-) to the battery negative (-). For fully automatic chargers, turn on the charging switch after connection. For manual chargers, set the charging voltage to 12V or 24V, and adjust the charging current to 3-5 amps (4-6 amps for 12V batteries, 5-10 amps for 24V batteries). Automatic chargers indicate full charge when the green light turns on, while manual chargers show full charge when the ammeter displays less than 0.5A. Battery types: Manual battery chargers, automatic battery chargers.
