Penalties for driving without a license: Driving a motorcycle without a license may result in a fine ranging from 200 to 2,000 yuan. Driving a motor vehicle without obtaining a motor vehicle driver's license, or during the period when the motor vehicle driver's license is revoked or temporarily suspended, may also result in detention for up to 15 days.
