A B2 driver's license allows the holder to operate medium and heavy-duty trucks or specialized operation vehicles, and also permits driving small cars, small automatic transmission vehicles, low-speed trucks, three-wheeled vehicles, and wheeled self-propelled machinery. With a B2 license, one is allowed to drive blue-plate minibuses with 9 seats or fewer and a vehicle length under 6 meters. Among the medium and heavy-duty trucks permitted by a B2 license, there are no restrictions on tonnage or length, but the requirement is that the cargo compartment and the cargo hold must be on the same chassis. Some trucks where the cab can be detached from the trailer, known as tractors or commonly referred to as 'semi-trucks,' can only be driven with an A2 license.
