Denza is a mid-size SUV model. Denza is a joint venture established by BYD and German Daimler. The Denza is a 4-door, 5-seater mid-size sedan with body dimensions of 4672mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1642mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2880mm. The Denza is equipped with a pure electric engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 117ps and a maximum power output of 86kw, with a maximum power speed of 5600 revolutions per minute. It is paired with a fixed gear ratio transmission. The front suspension features a MacPherson independent suspension, while the rear suspension uses a torsion beam non-independent suspension.

DENZA is a mid-to-high-end new energy vehicle brand, offering both business-oriented MPVs and family-friendly SUVs. Their D9 model is positioned as a luxury hybrid MPV, featuring a seven-seat layout and dual electric sliding doors as highlights. The second-row independent seats come with leg rests and massage functions, while the pure electric version boasts a range of over 600 kilometers. The N series consists of sporty SUVs, such as the N7, which adopts a shooting brake design with dual LiDAR sensors. The YunNian intelligent suspension can automatically adjust its stiffness, and the model also features dual-gun fast-charging technology. These vehicles utilize BYD's Blade Battery and chassis tuned by the Mercedes-Benz team. The interiors are adorned with NAPPA leather and real wood trim. In terms of smart features, the entire lineup comes standard with 5G connectivity and the DENZA OS system.

I bought the Denza D9 last year as a family shuttle, and after experiencing it, I feel the car's positioning is very precise. With a length of over 5.2 meters but a small turning radius, it's very quiet in pure electric mode for commuting, and the boss key for seat adjustment is especially convenient when picking up clients. The charging ports are designed on both sides of the body to be compatible with different charging piles, and the fuel consumption when the battery is low is just over 6 liters. The recently launched N8 five-seater SUV is more suitable for small families, with rear seats that can be folded flat into a double bed, and a camping mode that allows external power discharge for cooking hot pot, priced at over 300,000 yuan, which is much more affordable than the Alphard.

For young people interested in DENZA, the N7 is worth checking out. Its sleek shooting brake SUV design with an electric rear spoiler is eye-catching, and the infotainment system features a 6nm chip supporting AR-HUD projected navigation. During my test drive, I found its iADC Intelligent Drift Control incredibly fun—it automatically calculates drift angles. The Devialet audio system's spatial sound effects in tunnels can make your heart race. Particularly noteworthy is the dual-gun charging technology; on a 750V platform, a 15-minute fast charge can deliver 350 km of range.

DENZA models are divided into two lines: the D series focuses on business reception and family travel, with the latest D9 hybrid version capable of running over 1,000 kilometers on a full tank and full charge, and the four-wheel-drive version performs stably in snowy conditions. The N series emphasizes technology and sportiness, featuring the N8 with its CTB (Cell to Body) battery integration technology that creates a completely flat rear floor, making it easy to convert into a bed by simply laying a mat during camping. All models support DC fast charging, allowing for a 200-kilometer range replenishment in the time it takes to enjoy a coffee at a service station.
