What type of oil does the Orlando use?

The Orlando uses original mineral oil with the specification 5W-30. For later maintenance, you can choose to switch to fully synthetic oil, which provides better protection and lubrication for the engine. The viscosity of engine oil changes with temperature, so it's important to pay attention to its performance under both low and high temperatures. For example, in 5W-30, the first number indicates low-temperature fluidity—5W means it can withstand temperatures as low as -30°C. The smaller this number, the better the low-temperature fluidity, ensuring smoother cold starts for the car. The second number represents the oil's kinematic viscosity at 100°C. A higher value means the oil maintains its viscosity better under high temperatures, which can also be understood as providing superior lubrication in high-temperature conditions. The method for changing the Orlando's oil is as follows: Wait for the engine temperature to cool down, allowing the oil to drain back into the oil pan. Use a wrench to loosen the oil drain plug and place an oil pan underneath to catch the old oil until it stops flowing. Start the engine and let it run for 30 seconds to drain any remaining oil from the main oil passages. Remove the oil filter using a specialized wrench. Apply new oil to the oil filter's seal and hand-tighten it clockwise. Add new oil through the engine's valve cover oil filler port—typically, fill about three-quarters of a standard oil container. Start the engine and let it run for 5 minutes, checking for leaks around the oil drain plug and oil filter. If leaks are found, perform necessary repairs. After stopping the engine, remove the dipstick to ensure the oil level is within the standard range.
