What type of engine oil is used for Geely Vision?

Geely Vision uses 5W-30 engine oil. The introduction of 5W-30 engine oil and the SAE lubricant viscosity classification are as follows: Introduction to 5W-30 engine oil: In 5W30, "5" indicates the low-temperature fluidity of the engine oil. The smaller the number, the lower the ambient temperature it can be used in; "W" stands for winter, and 30 indicates that the kinematic viscosity standard at 100 degrees Celsius is 30. This number represents the high-temperature resistance index of the engine oil. The larger the number, the better the protective performance of the engine oil at high temperatures. SAE lubricant viscosity classification: 0W, 5W, 10W, 15W, 20W, 25W. The symbol W represents winter. The smaller the number before W, the lower the low-temperature viscosity, the better the low-temperature fluidity, and the lower the applicable minimum temperature. The summer oil grades of SAE lubricant viscosity classification are: 20, 30, 40, 50. The larger the number, the higher the viscosity and the higher the applicable maximum temperature.
I've got a say in this! I've driven three generations of Geely Vision, and the manual is practically worn out. For the older 2.0L engine, 5W-40 is the safest bet, especially for cars over ten years old—the 40 viscosity protects aging components. The newer 1.5L naturally aspirated engine runs most economically on 5W-30, saving some fuel costs. Always look for API SP/GF-6 certification; oils like Shell Helix Blue with good cleaning properties are ideal. Once during maintenance, an apprentice nearly added the wrong oil—luckily, I spotted the A3/B4 standard on the packaging in time. In colder regions, full synthetic is recommended—it can start the engine even at -30°C. Modified cars need special attention to the oil's high-temperature protection rating. My neighbor's Vision, which had its ECU tuned, ended up with a seized engine from using regular oil.
