What transmission is used in the Bestune T77?

The transmission of the Bestune T77 is independently developed by China FAW Group and Bestune. China FAW Group Corporation (abbreviated as FAW Group, China FAW, or FAW, with the English name FAW) is located in Lvyuan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, China, and was formerly known as the First Automobile Works. The Bestune T77 transmission adopts a 5-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission refers to a dual-clutch transmission with 7 forward gears, also known as a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which uses a wet clutch. The dual-clutch, or dual-clutch transmission (DCT), is different from the general automatic transmission system. When using the Bestune T77 transmission daily, the following points should be noted: Do not delay changing the transmission oil for too long. Although many models now have maintenance-free transmission oil, maintenance-free does not mean no replacement. Prolonged failure to change the transmission oil can lead to damage to bearings, casings, and other components inside the transmission. Avoid prolonged coasting in neutral. When driving a manual transmission model, many "experienced drivers" may coast in neutral, but for automatic transmission models, coasting in neutral can cause the automatic transmission to overheat, and there will be a certain impact when shifting back into D gear. Never shift into D/R gear before the vehicle comes to a complete stop. Many drivers, in order to demonstrate their "smooth" operation, will directly shift into reverse gear before the vehicle stops completely, which can cause significant damage to the gears inside the transmission. Over time, this can lead to gear grinding and other faults. Do not frequently climb steep slopes in D gear. When facing some steep slope sections, automatic transmission vehicles often overheat due to high load or shift up too early, resulting in insufficient climbing power. In this case, the manual mode can be used to limit low-speed gears or the sport mode to protect the transmission. Do not tow over long distances. When an automatic transmission vehicle breaks down, a flatbed tow truck should be used to move the vehicle onto the tow platform while it is in N gear, rather than using a tow rope or directly towing the vehicle.
I've used several Bestune T77 models, mainly equipped with automatic transmissions, with the six-speed version being the most common. It features Aisin's 6AT, which delivers exceptionally smooth driving with almost imperceptible gear shifts and rapid acceleration response. I recall that during urban driving, the transmission intelligently adjusts power output, avoiding erratic gear changes in traffic jams, while maintaining low RPM for fuel efficiency during highway cruising. Early models might have had manual transmissions, but automatics dominate the lineup. Maintenance costs are reasonable, with routine oil changes at 4S shops being the primary requirement. Durability is impressive – a friend of mine drove over 100,000 kilometers without issues. The overall powertrain coordination is excellent, making it ideal for family use with its smooth and safety-prioritized start. Noise control is well-executed, contributing to a comfortable driving experience that feels far more reassuring than dual-clutch transmissions.
